Purpose of the Catalogue
The OGIYI Public Domain Literature Library aims to provide free access to historically significant works in art, design, and visual culture. This catalogue is intended for readers, researchers, and enthusiasts who wish to explore primary and secondary sources from the public domain.
Scope and Selection
The catalogue currently contains 100 books, all sourced from Project Gutenberg. These works were chosen for their relevance to visual culture, including biographies, technical manuals, architectural studies, and art criticism. Selection prioritizes texts that offer unique perspectives or practical insights.
Source Attribution
All texts in this catalogue are public-domain works originally published by Project Gutenberg. We provide links to the source files and credit the original publishers and translators. No modifications are made to the texts themselves.
Bibliographic Records
Each book entry includes the title, author(s), publisher, keywords, target reader, and a catalogue note.
